In this video, I rank all of The Silent’s Common cards from Slay the Spire: The Board Game, based on how often I tend to pick or skip them in real runs rather than pure theoretical power. I go through each card one by one, talk about where it shines, where it struggles, how it contributes to damage scaling, defence, or synergy, and how it fits into different deck archetypes. The goal isn’t to declare anything strictly “good” or “bad”, but to give a practical perspective that might help you make better decisions during your own runs.

I also share how I approach Nightblade in solo Expert campaigns, including positioning, Stealth management, and more. This isn’t meant to be the only way to build the class, but rather a guide to help you understand how Nightblade functions and what makes it effective at the table.

This isn’t a list of the “best” or “hottest” new releases – just the games that caught my attention and that I’m looking forward to playing and eventually covering on the channel. Think of it as a small preview of what’s coming up, and hopefully a way to connect with others who share a similar taste in games!

For an extra challenge, I selected both my class and race randomly, and started the campaign with a non-damage-dealing skill line. This list isn’t about what’s newest, most popular, or trending right now – it’s based purely on the games I’ve enjoyed playing the most over the years, and especially those that stood out to me throughout this past year. Some of these are games I keep coming back to again and again, others surprised me over time, but every entry reflects my own experience at the table rather than any attempt at an objective ranking.

In this video, I share a complete beginner’s guide to The Elder Scrolls: Betrayal of the Second Era, focused on helping new players understand how to build strong characters, plan ahead, and make good decisions during the early days of a campaign.

I talk through character creation, the foundations of a solid build, how to plan your stats and skill lines, useful synergies, which starting characters I generally recommend, and examples of pure Stamina and pure Magicka builds. I also cover town action priorities, how to get stronger efficiently, how to approach your first day’s town encounter, where to go on the overland map and why, and what matters most when choosing your direction. From there, I walk through a Day 2 conflict encounter with real examples for each starting character and skill line, look at how to delve safely and effectively, and explain practical ways to deal with enemy skills and avoid common mistakes.

I hope that this guide gives new solo players a strong foundation and makes your first Expert campaigns feel far more manageable, and just helps you have more fun with your game or gaming group!

It includes a full knowledge base, a campaign tracker, build tools, a province atlas with built-in voiceover, a setup randomiser, enemy movement helper, card database, and a bunch of other genuinely useful tools for both new and experienced players. I rate each class across six categories – damage, survivability, utility, flexibility, simplicity, and how easy it is to upgrade to master, all based on my extensive solo Expert experience. I talk through what each class does well, where it struggles, and the little quirks that make them interesting to play. The goal isn’t to label anything as strictly good or bad, but to give a clearer picture of what each class brings to the table and hopefully help you choose something that fits the kind of build or campaign you want to play next.

It’s part of the Solo Game of the Month series by Best With 1 Games and is currently crowdfunding on Gamefound.
In this video, I record my first-ever full campaign playthrough on camera, playing The Elder Scrolls: Betrayal of the Second Era solo on Expert difficulty as a Witchhunter. The build uses Soul Magic and Vampire, along with some of the upcoming Heroes of Tamriel content that Chip Theory Games kindly allowed me to showcase early. I was pretty nervous filming this one and definitely made a few mistakes along the way, so I added on-screen corrections wherever I could. Still, it turned into a really fun run through Morrowind, and I hope you enjoy watching the full journey. Any feedback on pacing, explanations, or editing is always welcome.
